LAHORE
A 35-year-old man was shot dead over an old enmity in the Raiwind police limits on Friday.
Police have removed the dead body to the morgue and registered a case no. 44/15 on the complaint of Muhammad Ali against the nominated accused named Ata’a Muhammad and Jahangir of Sheikhupura under Section 302, 148 and 149 of the PPC. The deceased has been identified as Razaq, son of Amanat Ali.
According to police, the deceased and his family had an old enmity with the accused. In 2005, the victim’s family had killed a family member of the accused. Now the accused approached the victim’s house in Mishal Colony Raiwind. The victim came out of his house and they opened an indiscriminate firing and fled the spot. As a result, the victim received serious bullet injuries. Family of the victim rushed him to the nearby hospital but he could not survive. Police reached the crime scene on information, collected forensic evidences and registered statements of the eye-witnesses.
Police are searching for the accused.

Police have removed the dead bodies of the deceased to the morgue for autopsy. One of the victim robbers has been identified as Azahr, 47, a resident of Johar Town.
According to SI Tahir Ikram, these dacoits have stolen a car no MWH-5657 from Johar Town on Thursday. An FIR no 29/15 was also registered with the Johar Town Police Station on the complaint of Khawar Fareed.
On the day of incident, accused dacoits were riding a car when police stopped them at a police picket in Jubilee Town but they did not stop. Police followed them. When they approached them near Jubilee Town, robbers opened fire on police. Police also retaliated. As a result, two dacoits died on the spot while two of their accomplices managed to escape.
Police were searching for the family of the one of the deceased persons. They are also searching for two accomplices of the robbers who fled the scene.

A passerby informed the police about a man lying unconscious in Shahi Mohalla. Police rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
Police told the media that the deceased looked like a drug-addict and might have died due to excessive use of drugs or cold. However, autopsy will help ascertain the cause of death.
Police are searching for the family of the deceased.
