Three acquitted of extortion charges

Karachi An anti-terrorism court (ATC) acquitted the three accused in extortion case on Friday. Muhammad Shabbir, Habibul Hasan and Asif Abbas were found not guilty in the case. The judge pronounced the verdict after recording the evidences, statements of witnesses and hearing arguments from both the sides.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) acquitted the three accused in extortion case on Friday.
Muhammad Shabbir, Habibul Hasan and Asif Abbas were found not guilty in the case.
The judge pronounced the verdict after recording the evidences, statements of witnesses and hearing arguments from both the sides.
FIR 312 2013 was registered at the Gulberg police station under section 385 putting person in fear of injury in order to commit extortion, 386 extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt, 506-B and 34 common intention of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
