FAISALABAD: University of Agriculture Faisalabad senior tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervez passed away here on Thursday.
He was 59. His funeral prayer was offered at the university villas, Rajawala. A large number of people, including the UAF staff, attended funeral prayer.
Meanwhile, UAF Vice-Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that Dr Aslam Pervez was a sensitive human being and an excellent teacher. He termed the death of Dr Aslam an irreparable loss to the UAF community. He had left the lasting mark in the history of extracurricular activities, the UAF VC added.
EXHIBITION: CPO Dr Sohail Tajik inaugurated a three-day Islamic exhibition at the police martyred monument near the General Bus Stand on Thursday.
Eighty-four antiques and models of Gumbad-e-Khizra, Khana Kaba and Faisal Mosque were displayed in the exhibition.
