Madaris are fortresses of Islam: Fazl

PANNU AQIL: The Central Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Fazlur Rahman, on Thursday said Deeni Madaris are fortresses of Islam and students getting education at the Madaris are preachers of love and brotherhood and consider service to humanity their sacredduty and such service gives them peace.

He was speaking at the Dargah Halejvi Sharif on the occasion of the demise of Maulana Abdul Wahid Halejvi, the brother of Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Sindh, and Sajjada Nasheen of the Dargah, Maulana Abul Samad Halejvi, with whom he condoled on the demise of his brother.

During the conversation, Maulana Fazl said we must live together with love and brotherhood, as the same is the preaching of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who had asked the Ummah to be prepared for the life hereafter.

He continued that the Madaris are fortresses of Islam and those have acquired training and education at these Madaris are preaching love and brotherhood throughout the country. This is an infinite world and everyone has to depart from here and there is no definite time for it, he added.

Present on the occasion, along with Maulana Fazlur Rahman, were General Secretary Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam(F), Sindh, Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro, Qari Muhammad Usman, Agha Muhammad Ayub Pathan, Maulana Abdul Qayyum, Maulana Muhammad Saleh Andhar and others.
