The present condition of job opportunities in Pakistan is pretty unfortunate. Fresh graduates are rejected due to lack of experience. This creates confusion among students because they are not sure how to gain ‘experience’ when no company is hiring them. It is nothing less than a catch-22 situation. In some countries, universities help students to enter the work force by providing them ample opportunities of internships during their studies. Degrees are awarded to students once they have completed the stipulated time of internship. In this way, a student graduates with enough experience to get a job.
The government, education institutions and employers must take some steps in order to improve the present job market of the country.
