Sherpao demands judicial inquiry into Gadani Shipyard incident

PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Sherpao has demanded judicial inquiry into Gadani shipyard incident to determine the exact extent of losses. In a statement here Tuesday, he said that it would provide authentic and real data of the victims for helping out the compensation and other related issues. He believed that the Balochistan government was hiding the death toll and details of missing persons, which was source of concern.He deplored that the over 200 workers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had either been killed or missing but the Balochistan government had not been giving exact figures which dismayed the affected families.
