For past some time, law and order situation in Lahore has taken a nosedive; jeopardising the lives and property of its citizens. Looting at gun-point at city squares and traffic signals has become a routine affair. In most cases, families in cars are the target. The armed gangs come on bikes and loot the people at gunpoint and then swoop away with pure impunity and audacity leaving the family in a state of mental trauma for days to come. This is what I had to face last Saturday (Dec 3). My family and I were looted by dacoits in Marghzar Colony, Lahore. The worst part ensued when the staff at a police station was not of much help. The SHO of the police station only exhibited his resolve to nab the dacoits in the future.
Now, the higher authorities are requested to take notice of this worsening law and order situation in Lahore on the top priority basis, and create an atmosphere where people can move on roads with zero-fear of their lives and property.
