SHO suspended, three ASIs demoted

DIG operations admonished DSP, Gulshan Ravi, Ghulam Abbas and SHO, Gulshan Ravi, Javed Sadique over a surge in crimes.

Reviewing the performance of Iqbal Town Division police against crimes and criminals during the month of November, he suspended SHO, Wahdat Colony, Waqas ul Hassan over rapid increase in crimes and demoted ASI Sanaullah and ASI Zakaullah posted at Iqbal Town police station and ASI Shakeel posted at Nawankot police station to the rank of head constables over poor performance.

The DIG issued show cause notices to Beat Officer Wahdat Colony T/ASI Tariq, T/ASI Ali Raza and SI Manzoor over poor performance.
