NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said on Wednesday that Pakistan faced two major challenges: terrorism and corruption which in fact were two sides of the same coin. Addressing a seminar on corruption arranged by NAB here he said that terrorism and corruption need to be tackled with an iron hand.

He said our Armed Forces have launched a war against terrorism while NAB is fighting corruption. He said that corruption has no boundaries and it needs a united action by world.

He urged the people particularly youth to spread message of the NAB "say no to corruption" to every corner of the country.  He said in a developing country like Pakistan, where each borrowed dollar must be spent to uplift the people from poverty, it is gnawing at the roots of the nation.

He said that eradication of corruption is a challenging job and there should be no complacency about that.  DG NAB Rawalpindi Attiq-Ur-Rehman re-iterated that the NAB will continue to cleanse society of the corrupt. He said the NAB strongly believes in zero tolerance against corruption and is working with full force to nip this evil.

Prof Dr Ghulam Raza urged the youth to be a whistle blower against corruption as it could bring change in Pakistan. Students of various colleges, universities and schools also delivered speeches to highlight ills of corruption. Later, shields and certificates were distributed among the students.
