Heroin seized

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a would-be smuggler in possession of over 600 grams of heroin at the Karachi airport on Tuesday.
According to an ANF spokesman, security personnel intercepted a passenger travelling to Thailand upon a tip-off and recovered the heroin that was stashed in 67 capsules. The net quantity, he said, was 660 grams and a case had been registered against the suspect.
However, the spokesman added that the suspect had not been operating alone and raids were being carried out across the country to bust the gang involved in the smuggling bid.
