Pakistan judo team reaches Tokyo

KARACHI: Pakistan judo team reached Tokyo on Thursday to compete in Judo Grand Slam.
A total of 287 judokas from 41 countries will be participating in the event. Pakistan judo delegation consists of five persons.
Junaid Alam (team official) and Zarif Ahmed (coach) are accompanying judokas Nadeem Akram, Qaisar Khan and Wajahat Sarwar.
Nadeem will feature in 73 kg weight category and will play against Chinese Taipei’s Feng Mao Lee.
Qaisar will play against Philippines’s Kodo Nakano in 81 kg weight category. Wajahat Sarwar will compete against Mongolian Ishdorj Dashdulam in 100 kg weight category.
