Inaugurates 132-KV grid station, Sui Gas office

BATKHELA: Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Sunday said that Khyber Pakhtukhwa had provided an opportunity to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan to improve his chances in the political arena but he failed to come up to the expectations.

Speaking at a gathering after inaugurating an 132-kilowatts grid station and Sui Gas sub office in Batkhela here, he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif fulfilled his promises.

“Everyone makes promises but only people having sense of dignity and integrity honour their promises,” the PML-N leader added. The prime minister’s adviser asked Chief Minister Pervez Khattak not to look to the issue in the province from the perspective of Imran Khan, saying that work on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was in progress.

He said Imran Khan should learn that the only way to elevate in political struggle was through hard work, respecting the country’s institutions and political workers.  The PML-N leader said the lawmakers from PTI avoided the assembly for 120 days. However, they also got the salary for those days which they had spent on containers.  “Giving relief to the people, country’s development and to stable the economy of the country is our mission,” Amir Muqam said.
