KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has not yet received the visas of Pakistan junior hockey team’s players and officials who are due to participate in the Junior Hockey World Cup 2016 in India, ‘The News’ has learnt.
Sources in the PHF said that due to official holidays on Saturday and Sunday, no progress was possible, and the situation would be clear by Monday (tomorrow).
The Green-shirts are slated to depart for India on December 4. International Hockey Federation (FIH) has also contacted Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) pertaining to the participation of Pakistan hockey team in the World Cup.
