‘Industrialists, traders to get
equal opportunities in global markets’

JHANG: SM Munir, Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Friday said equal opportunities were being provided to industrialists and traders in terms of accessing international markets to promote trade activities.
Address a function of the Jhang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) held in connection with annual election of Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FCCI) of Pakistan, Munir said on the recommendations of TDAP, the Prime Minister has directed the Punjab government to facilitate district level chambers regarding establishment of industrial states besides resolving traders’ issues.
JCCI president Sh Yaqoob said attitude of some district-level government functionaries is objectionable with business community and traders. Munir said industrialists and traders of the country were united under the banner of FCCI and the PM has directed the Punjab government to facilitate the district level chambers during their visits to government offices. Munir said annual elections of the FCCI will be concluded peacefully and with coordination of district JCCIs/ business community of the country.
JCCI SVP Chaudhry Yusuf, VP Malik, Fiaz Hussain, Multan Chamber’s member Tanveer Sheikh, Sargodha Chamber’s member Qasair, DG Khan and Sheikhupura Chambers’ presidents, Karachi Chamber’s member Maryum, Faisalabad Chamber’s member Mian Zafar, Lahore Chamber’s member and SARRC Chamber’s VP Iftikhar Ali Malik, Karachi Chamber’s member Zubair Tufail, MPAs, Chaudhry Khalid Ghani and Aun Abbas Sial, senior member district press club Riaz Javed, Exertive Engineers Fesco/Wapda Jhang division-I Sheikh Mudassar and Jhang Division-II Faisal Raza Marth and others were also present.
