Man commits suicide after killing wife over domestic row

SIALKOT: A man committed suicide after killing his wife over a domestic dispute at Muzaffarpur village in Uggoki police limits on Thursday morning.
According to the police, Tanvir Hussain s/o Javed Iqbal got infuriated after a verbal clash with his wife Safeerah Zainab (28). In the meantime, Javed allegedly shot his wife dead. Later, the accused ended his life by shooting himself. The deceased couple has left behind a four-year-old son. Tanvir, a labourer, belonged to Chawinda and was currently living in a rented house at the village. He was jobless nowadays. The police have taken the bodies in custody and started investigation.
TWO KILLED: Two people were murdered in separate incidents here on Thursday morning. In the first incident, Iftikhar had a monetary dispute with landowner Muhammad Hanif. The landowner was asleep at his farmhouse at Pathananwali village under the limits of Sadr police station when Iftikhar alias Kharo and Mubeen Yousaf entered and allegedly shot him dead. The police have registered a case and arrested Mubeen, one of the two accused.
In the second incident, some unidentified attackers gunned down Muhammad Saleem, 45, when he was sleeping at his dera in Sadr police limits. The police have shifted the bodies to a morgue for autopsy after registering separate cases.
