ISLAMABAD: Reacting to the speech of PML-N MNA Hamza Shahbaz, PTI Information Secretary Naeemul Haq Monday said inaugurating a park in the name of his own father was a shameful example of monarchy.
In a statement, Haq said putting names of the ruling family members on the planks of government projects was both immoral and shameful trend, which PTI would put to an end after coming into power.
“The state-funded projects are assets of the masses and they should not have names of the looters of national wealth on them,” he asserted.
He maintained that they would remove names of Sharifs and princes from all the projects built with the tax-payers money and put names of the patriotic and hard-working Pakistani people instead.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan Monday condoled the death of noted mountaineer Hasan Sadpara and termed it an irreparable national loss.He paid tribute to late Hasan for rendering services for promoting Pakistan’s image abroad.Imran condoled with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah to grant eternal peace to late Hasan and courage to his family members to bear this loss.
