Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s farewell meetings were appreciable and a good omen for the country and the nation as had brought a period of uncertainty to an end.
In a statement here on Monday, he said the nation saluted General Raheel Sharif’s foresight who adopted a bold policy not only to save the country from numerous internal threats but also foiled India’s war designs.
Sirajul Haq said General Raheel Sharif had set best example by earning a place for himself in the minds and hearts of the masses through his frequent movements. He said the heads of all state institutions should take General Raheel as a model in this respect.
Instead of relying on an individual, we should depend on collective wisdom as the policies of an individual in politics had always created problems.
