KP govt investing in human resource, says CM
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Sunday said the provincial government was spending funds on the development of human resource.
“We will not tolerate delaying tactics in execution of welfare projects,” he said, adding that that essence of delegation of power at the grassroots level was to address our problems at district level.
Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said the provincial government had planned durable progress and development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “We know how to implement our projects,” he added.
A handout said he was talking to a representative delegation of Kohat headed by Member National Assembly Shehryar Khan Afridi, Provincial Minister for Law Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi and others.
The chief minister told the delegation that the provincial government had undertaken planning for flourishing the potential of the youth. He said playgrounds were being established in 76 tehsils of the province. He asked the concerned quarters to execute the project and utilised their potential for making the projects a reality.
He directed the officials concerned not to select disputed sites for establishing playgrounds to avoid waste of time and resources. The chief minister said that time of illegal and wrong appointments was over now. He said that now recruitment was being done on merit through a transparent procedure.
The establishment of several schools had been sanctioned in Kohat and asked the concerned quarters to take steps for establishment of the sanctioned educational institutions, the chief minister added.
Pervez Khattak said that instead of wasting time focus should be given on execution of welfare projects. He asked the officials concerned to ensure the timely implementation of the ongoing projects. The chief minister warned that no delaying tactics would be tolerated in implementation of developmental projects. He said delaying tactics created problems for the people and led to waste of resources.
