Violence against transgender condemned

KASUR: An NGO Wednesday strongly condemned violence against a transgender in a Sialkot village.
In a meeting convened by an organisation of Kasur transgender community at Chandni chowk, the NGO’s office-bearers Nasir Mumtaz, Farzana, Puja and others expressed concern on the Sialkot incident.
In a statement, the participants urged the government to protect transgender community and take stern action against perpetrators of the Sialkot incident.
