Foreign players taking part in Pakistan squash events
KARACHI: Pakistan hosted 40 to 50 foreign players from 10-15 countries during 2016, stated Secretary Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Amir Nawaz on Tuesday.
At a press conference in Islamabad about the $25,000 CAS International Squash Championship scheduled from November 16-21 at Mushaf Squash Complex, he said: “During 2016, we had 40-50 international players in Pakistan from 10-15 countries.”
In this $25,000 CAS International Squash Championship, 11 foreign players are participating.
Ten foreign players participated in the $25,000 COAS International Squash Championship held in Islamabad from September 27 to October 2. Omar Abdel Meguid from Egypt won the championship.
There were 15 foreign players in the $25,000 CNS International Squash Championship, held in Islamabad from October 17-22. Zahed Mohamed from Egypt won this championship.
