‘Gujranwala textile products demand high in Kenya’

GUJRANWALA: High Commissioner of Kenya Julias Cabot Battok has said that there is huge demand of textile products of Gujranwala in Kenya due to supreme quality.
He said this during his visit to a local dying and printing mill here on Monday. Commercial Consular of Kenya Falli Mona Wimbolwa, All Pakistan Textiles Processing Mills Association chairman Haji Muhammad Saeed, Irfan Saeed, Usman Saeed and others were also present. Julias Cabot said that there was a lot of scope for increasing business between the industrialists of both the countries. Our embassy was ready to facilitate Pakistani businessmen in enhancing their exports to Kenya, he offered. Julias Cabot Battok said that the best way to take advantage of potential was to develop and promote direct contacts between the businessmen of both the countries. He said that our businessmen were keen to enhance relations with Pakistani traders. He invited the APTMA chairman to participate in the expo to be held in Kenya. He hoped that this would help share experiences of both the countries.
CASE ORDERED AGAINST SHO: Additional Sessions Judge Waseem Afzal Mian on Monday directed the CPO to get register a case against Model Town police SHO Amir Shaheen Gondal for not producing himself before the court despite issuance of several notices.
Muhammad Azmat filed an application in the court against SHO Amir Shaheen and the court issued a notice to the SHO to attend the court but he did not appear in the court. At this, the court directed the CPO to take action against the SHO and got register a case against him.
BAIL GRANTED: Civil Judge Sardar Kamaluddin on Monday granted bail to three dancers and owner of a theater.
Khiali police had arrested three dancers, Asia, Shumaila and Saba, for vulgar dance. The police also arrested owner of the theater Inamul Haq.
