‘Trump election proves US decline’

Tanzim-e-Islami ameer Hafiz Akif Saeed on Friday said Americans proved themselves a morally bankrupt nation by electing Donald Trump as their president despite that he is widely known as a racist and extremist person.

Study of history showed that downfall of every super power began with moral decline, he said while addressing a gathering. Hafiz Akif Saeed said by choosing Trump as president Americans had shown to the world that they were completely deprived of morality and self-respect. He said though Hillary Clinton would never have been an enemy of Muslims yet Trump looked he would cross all limits on Muslims enmity.

He said it was a high time Muslims should give serious thought to protecting themselves, and Pakistan needed to strengthen its ideological borders since geographical borders could not be protected without first protecting ideological boundaries.
