APPSCA demands transfer of EDO (Education)
From Our Correspondent
JHANG: All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association (APPSCA) district president Muhammad Ishfaq Thursday demanded an immediate transfer of the Education EDO and his administrative staff.
Addressing a press conference in the press club, Ishfaq flanked by secretary general Imran Haider and other office-bearers accused EDO Nasim Ahmed Zahid of showing discriminatory attitude with the owners of private schools. He alleged that the EDO deliberately halted renewal of registration of 17 private schools to cover negligence of his staff. They said owing to alleged non-cooperative attitude of the EDO future of above 10,000 students was at stake.
They warned of closing all private schools if registration certificates of 17 private schools would not be issued till November 15.
When contacted, the EDO rejected the allegations, saying that he was perfuming his duty honestly and he acted according to regulations.
