A satisfied pensioner

I am a recipient of the EOBI pension and have received my dues regularly. The only problem relating to the EOBI pension is the meagre amount of pension. It is surprising that parliamentarians find ways to get an increment in their salary but pay no attention to the low amount of pension disbursed by the government. This is what the government should take care of. As far as the payment of pension is concerned, the system has been running smoothly.

I have been receiving my pension from the National Bank, Islamabad and had no problems. Most recently, the NBP transferred the EOBI pension payment services to Bank Alfalah. The process was smooth and the account was open in the new bank in no time. Although the September pension has been held up because of the transfer process, the October pension was deposited in the bank without any hassle. Since, the EOBI pensioners have been provided with a hassle-free system of payment, it is hoped that the government will look into the matter of an increase in the amount of pension.
