Woman killed as landlords set dogs on her

BAHAWALPUR: A woman died when two landlord brothers allegedly set their dogs on her at Chak 179 near Punjab-Sindh Border under the limits of Kot Subzal police on Tuesday.
Safia Bibi was passing through the fields of Shakir Ali and Yasir Ali when they allegedly set the dogs on her. As a result, she died on the spot. Meanwhile, RPO Muhammad Idrees took notice of the incident and an FIR of murder was registered against the accused persons. However, the accused fled. According to spokesman for the Rahimyar Khan DPO office as well as PRO of the Bahawalpur RPO office, directions had been issued for the arrest of the culprits.
