Motivation for players

November 07, 2016
This refers to the letter, ‘Women in the ring’ (Nov 4), by Air-Cdre (r) Azfar A Khan. Two female boxers have enrolled in the Shaheen Boxing Club. The entry of women in the boxing field is commendable and it is hoped that these women will excel in this sport. These women are raising the positive image of the country in the world.
It is the responsibility of the government to promote such players for future competitions. The government is also requested to allocate fund to the boxing club so that the players can be properly trained.
