The CPEC is a major part of the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) project and it will create economic stability in the country. The CPEC projects are expected to create over 2 million direct and indirect jobs. This will increase the growth rate of the country’s GDP to 7.5 percent.
An additional 1.4 million indirect jobs will be created in the supply-chain and services sectors to support these projects. The CPEC will create immense economic opportunities not only in Pakistan but in the entire South Asian region.
