The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized a huge quantity of hashish near Gwadar in Balochistan.
The law enforcers after receiving information that some drug peddlers were trying to smuggle the narcotics abroad via sea started patrolling the Coastal Highway. A suspicious vehicle was signalled to stop but the suspects inside opened fire and fled.
The PCG team chased the vehicle but the alleged smuggler escaped after abandoning his vehicle. Around 350 kilograms of hashish was found hidden in the vehicle. The value of the seized hashish was said to be Rs30 million.
