Honour for Japanese consul general in Quetta

Islamabad: The Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2016 Autumn Conferment of Decorations, says a press release.

 

Syed Nadeem Alam Shah, Honorary Consul General of Japan in Quetta is one of the 96 foreign recipients to receive The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon in recognition of his contribution to promoting cultural exchanges and friendly relations between Japan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Decoration: Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon; Service: contribution to promoting cultural exchanges and friendly relations between Japan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Syed Nadeem Alam Shah (59), Major Titles: Honorary Consul General of Japan in Quetta (2001-), President of Pakistan-Japan Friendship Society, Balochistan (2000-).

Syed Nadeem Alam Shah, honorary consulate general of Japan in Quetta has greatly aided the development of the Japan-Pakistan relations through having promoted the mutual understandings and friendly relations between these two countries for a few decades. Especially he has made outstanding contributions in Quetta with promotion of Japanese culture and assistance to Japanese citizens in a committed manner, which has deepened Japan-Pakistan relationships.
