Millat Estate polls held

FAISALABAD: Elections of the Millat Industrial Estate Association for 2016-18 were held during the Annual General Meeting of the Association on Wednesday.
Dr Khurram Tariq was elected as chairman while Hamid Rashid and Muhammad Idrees Panstoas Vice Chairmen of the Association.
Hafiz Rab Nawaz was elected as secretary general.
Dr Khurram has been the central chairman of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Associations (PHMA), chairman FPCCI (Punjab) Standing Committee on CSR and advisor to Ministry of Commerce.
He has been elected as Chairman Millat Estate second time.
Talking to reporters, the new chairman vowed steps for the welfare of the workers and to improve efficiency of the Association.
He urged the government to urgently announce the long overdue Textile Package for the revival of the growth of the textile industry.
