Islamabad: The Capital Administration and Development Division has notified the promotion of nine more BPS-17 teachers (all men) of Islamabad’s model schools.
Last week, the promotion of 11 women BPS-17 teachers as assistant headmistresses (BPS-18) was notified almost seven months after the CADD’s Departmental Promotion Committee recommended it.
Among them were Sumaira Javed, Aijaz Tahira Gurmani, Kalsoom Akhtar, Asma Naz, Shazia Rabnawaz, Faiza Sameen, Nabila Kousar, Zahida Riaz, Shagufta Yasmeen, Syedah Faizah Maqsood and Riffat Yasmeen.
According to the latest notification of the CADD, which oversees Islamabad’s government schools through the Federal Directorate of Education, Umar Farooq Mir, Irfanullah Khan, Yaseer Arfat Chatta, M Naseer Khan, Mustafa Haider, Nisar Khan, Shahzad Ahmad Khan Ghayyur, Manan Latif and Anwarul Haq have been promoted as assistant professors (BPS-18) with immediate effect. They all will be on probation for one year in line with the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973.
