‘Youm-e-Mukhtar’

The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the spirit of Mukhtar is needed to get rid of the international colonial powers, says a press release.
This was stated by him while addressing a special function held at Al-Murtaza Thursday on the occasion of country-wide ‘Youm-e-Mukhtar’ Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) (Eid-e-Zehra).
Agha Moosavi said that one of the great personality from amongst the followers of Imam Hussain (A.S.) was that of Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi who stayed for the supremacy of the flag of justice and fair-play and to punish the oppressors. He said Hazrat Mukhtar fought for ‘Kitab’ Allah, ‘Sunnat-e-Rasool’, to take the revenge of Imam Hussain (A.S.), his companions and near and dear ones for the sake of justice and fair-play, and in the favour and defence of the oppressed and have-nots. He said Hazrat Mukhtar implemented his targets and shattered Yazidiyyat, tyranny, oppression and brutality. He said the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) had predicted that Allah will appoint Mukhtar to take revenge from the oppressors and debauchers. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi reiterated his resolve that every conspiracy against the religion and the motherland will be thwarted through mutual unity and brotherhood by following the path of Mukhtar (R.A.) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).
