26 arrested in Mardan search

MARDAN: The police on Sunday arrested 26 persons including six proclaimed offenders and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession in different parts of Mardan.
On the special directives of district police officer (DPO) Fasial Shahzad, a raiding team was constituted under the supervision of Superintendent Police (SP), operation, Shafiullah Khan Gandapur.
The raiding team in a grand operation in different parts of the district arrested 26 suspected people including 6 proclaimed offenders. The police also recovered a Kalashnikov, 9 pistols, 1 shot gun and 169 cartridges of different bore from their custody. Police also registered case against 106 tenants for not submitting their documents in the concern police stations.
