Woman poisoned to death by husband

OKARA: A woman was allegedly poisoned to death by her husband and his accomplices over second marriage issue here.
Khadeja Bibi, d/o Bashir Rehmani of 32/2L village, had contracted marriage with accused Inamullah of 44/D village some time ago. Later, parents of Inamullah wanted to contract his second marriage. In the meantime, the parents of Khadeja Bibi received information that their daughter was seriously ill and had been admitted to the THQ Hospital Depalpur where she later died on October 25, 2016. However, the post-mortem report disclosed that she was tortured and marks of torture were also found around her neck. Later, it was disclosed in the police investigation that her husband Inamullah had gave her poison.
375KG ROTTEN MEAT SEIZED: The Livestock Renala Khurd DDO on Saturday seized 375kg rotten meat.
On a tip-off, the DDO raided near 14/1L village and seized rotten meat. However, accused Umar Hayat, Malik Anwar and Malik Ahtesham fled. Renala Khurd police have registered a case.
