GUJRANWALA: Commander 30 Corps Lt-Gen Ikramul Haq on Friday visited the Sialkot CMH and met the victims of CFVs by the Indian BSF in Sialkot sector. He inquired about the injured persons and prayed for their early recovery.
Missing man found dead

GUJRANWALA: A missing man was found dead in Ladhewala Warriach police limits on Friday. Irfan of Awan Chowk had been missing for the last three days. On the day of the incident, some people spotted the body of Irfan in the fields and informed the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for autopsy. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
REPORT FORWARDED: On the directions of Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab director general, ACE Regional Director Rana Abdul Shakoor has forwarded the report consisting of inquiries and cases for further necessary action against the land record officials.
According to the report, eight inquiries are under process against 32 officials of the land record computerisation centres, including Bilal Khalid, Muhammad Shahbaz, Sabir Ali, Mohsin Iqbal, Rana Ahmed Masroor, Muhammad Tayyab, Mudassar Khan of Sialkot, Ghulam Ali of Gujrat, Adeel Gohar, Malik Faheem of Shakargarh, Muhammad Hussain and Nazim Ali of Pindi Bhattian.
