All major trade associations, including the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have condemned terrorism attack in Quetta.
All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) and Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association also condemned the attack. In a statement issued here, LCCI President Abdul Basit, Senior Vice-President Amjad Ali Jawa and Vice President Muhammad Nasir Hameed said that entire nation was saddened by the huge loss of human lives caused by the terrorists attack in Quetta. They said the business community stood shoulder to shoulder with their Balochi brethren.
APTMA Chairman Amir Fayyaz said the attack in Quetta was not just a terror attack on the people of Pakistan but also a heinous crime against the entire humanity.
