Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) held the inauguration ceremony of The Millennium University College (TMUC), at Bahria Springs, Phase-7 Rawalpindi to further its academic mission by providing transnational education through a range of international qualifications to the youth of Pakistan, says a press release.
The landmark inaugural, arranged at TMUC, Bahria Springs, commenced with the reception of the chief guest Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan, the president of AJK by the TMUC Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Executive Director Anna Faisal, the Dean of Academics, Principal Shabana Jaspal and the Head of International Programs. Other distinguished guests that graced the occasion included Country Head University of London, Saad Waseem, members of the TMUC Advisory Council and parents of the student body.
The chief guest was given a tour of the campus by the chief executive and executive director, they showed him around the largest private tertiary purpose built institution in Bahria Town Phase 7, wherein he was shown various departments, class rooms and other facilities including the library, gym, student lounge, cafeteria and the auditorium. Later the guests were also given an introduction to TMUC’s aims and ambitions and then a virtual tour of the institution.
In his welcome speech Faisal Mushtaq thanked the distinguished guests for gracing the occasion while reflecting on the TMUC’s mission and commitment to bring quality education to the Pakistani youth so that they can confidently meet the global challenges of the 21st century. TMUC aims to be an institution of higher learning dedicated to providing innovative undergraduate, graduate, and professional education.
Sharing his views on the occasion the President Sardar Masood Khan congratulated Faisal Mushtaq and his team on establishing a world class institution to promote quality education in Bahria Town and Pakistan. During the campus visit he was amazed to see the technology lab, Fashion Lab and studio; he was pleased that the students studying the UK degrees will have an environment to match the quality education they receive. Successively, the TMUC alumni spoke to the audience recounted their enriching experience of studying at TMUC.
The speeches were followed by the chief guest unveiling the inaugural plaque and presenting high achievement awards to TMUC staff followed by an outstanding display of fireworks. The inaugural ceremony concluded as the guests proceeded to a seated buffet dinner while enjoying an electrifying music.
