‘People ready to crush retrogressive forces’
From Our Correspondent
FAISALABAD: People are fully mobilised and ready to crush the retrogressive forces that are looting and plundering national wealth in the garb of democracy.
It was said by PTI West Punjab president Ch Muhammad Ashfaq while addressing the office-bearers of the party at Madina Town secretariat here on Friday. He said that there was no rule of law in the country, adding that the elite class was enjoying all benefits while the poor were deprived of even basic amenities of life. Ch Ashfaq said that Faisalabad was a city of workers and tillers of the soil who had played a major role in previous democratic revolutions. He hoped that the PTI workers were fully prepared to participate in the Islamabad sit-in on November 2. Ch Ashfaq was confident that under the sagacious leadership of Imran Khan, the party workers would besiege Islamabad on November 2 and continue their Dharna till acceptance of their demands. He announced that the PTI workers from all over the Punjab would proceed to Islamabad under his leadership on November 1.
