KARACHI: The three-day game of the triangular stage of the PCB Inter-Region Under-19 tournament between Rawalpindi and Faisalabad ended in a draw at Mirpur Stadium, Mirpur, on Friday.
On the third and final day, Faisalabad, who had been forced to follow-on, resumed their second innings at 122-1 and reached 266-7. The hall-mark of Faisalabad’s innings was Mohammad Saleem’s fine unbeaten 100 which carried 11 fours and one six. Abdul Samad made 89 with 13 fours. Mohammad Haroon got 3-24. Mohammad Waqar captured 2-55.
Rawalpindi posted 280-7 in their first innings. Faisalabad, in response, managed only 123.
