Final notices issued to dilapidated buildings owners

OKARA: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) on Tuesday issued final notice to the owners of dilapidated buildings in the city.The TMA has asked them to renovate the buildings or vacate them immediately. There are 25 old buildings and seven old industrial units declared dangerous by the TMA. Despite issuance of notices from the TMA, the buildings owners did not renovate or vacate the dangerous buildings. TMA Administrator Ch Muhammad Riaz has now issued last notices to the owners of such buildings.
PEOPLE DEMAND FILLING OF CRATERS: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) road renovation staff has failed to fill craters at the Central Benazir Avenue near Sikandar Chowk.The people said that these pits and craters were dangerous for motorists as well as for pedestrians as they could cause accident any time due to alleged negligence of the TMA staff. They said that the road on which these craters were present was one of the busiest roads of the city. They said that the TMA had also failed to fill broken patches of several roads at almost all the main city roads. The people demanded the authorities take notice of the issue.
