Book launched at UET

The launching ceremony of book titled “Dielectric X-TICS & High Voltage Engineering” written by Prof Dr Suhail Aftab Qureshi, Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and co-author Engr Muhammad Usman Haider of University of Engineering and Technology Lahore was held at the campus on Monday.

According to a press release, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid was the chief guest.

Prof Dr Suhail Aftab said that the book contains a lot of information regarding the research performed by a number of scientists in the past on ionization and deionization process in all type of dielectric.

Besides this, all sort of factors, which affect the characteristics of those dielectric under different conditions, are included in this publication.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad while congratulating the authors expressed that the book is considered backbone for any discipline to learn and explore the sector extensively in scientific grounds. It is splendid effort to publish a book which will be beneficial for teachers, students and practitioners of electrical engineering and related departments.

Faculty and students of Electrical Engineering Department were also present.  The ceremony was concluded by presenting a book to the vice chancellor.
