Two BISE officials suspended after Inter students protest
From Our Correspondent
DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dera Ghazi Khan, authorities have suspended two officials after complaints of alleged flawed marking and a protest by students.
A large number of candidates, who had appeared in the Inter Part-1 annual examinations 2016, had complained the BISE chairman about the alleged flawed marking. They claimed that they had been awarded low marks. On Friday, the students also staged a demonstration on Multan Road, demanding remarking and rechecking of their papers from independent examiners.
When contacted, Deputy Controller Examination Sheikh Amjad Hussain said that the result had been compiled very carefully and there was no question about its credibility. He said that two officials Tayyab Raza and Riaz Ahmad had been suspended on the charge of technical mistakes that would soon be removed.
