Dacoit commits suicide to avoid police arrest

SIALKOT: A dacoit allegedly committed suicide to avoid police arrest at Mohallah Mubarakpura on Saturday.
Two unidentified dacoits intercepted Riaz and snatched valuables from him. In the meantime, some policemen reached the spot and tried to arrest the dacoits. On seeing the police, the dacoits opened fire at them and tried to flee from the spot. The policemen chased the escaping dacoits. On seeing this, one dacoit allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself. However, his accomplice managed to escape. Later, the killed dacoit was identified as Chitta. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
