QUETTA: Balochistan leader and brother of former chief minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani, Lashkari Raisani has on Thursday resigned from Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N), saying that PML-N is rewarding only one province and the federal government has failed to resolve the missing persons’ case in Balochistan, reported a private news channel.
Raisani said that PML-N had become a party of one province only instead of the federation. He said that none of the promises made to the people of Balochistan were fulfilled by the government in two and half years and all the matters had kept limited to the Murree agreement.
He said that the PML-N neither brought any legislation for Balochistan during 2 and half years nor did it take any measures for the recovery of the missing persons. “I thought that PML-N was doing the politics of federation and would do something for Balochistan on emergency basis but it is sad to note that PML-N has completely failed to delegate the powers to the provinces and resolution of the other problems”, said Raisani.
