Led by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prosecution Officers Welfare Association President Naeem Khan and Mujarrab Khan, the protesters walked through various places and gathered outside the Swat Press Club.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that association had repeatedly asked the government to provide security to public prosecutors but to no avail. “Such incident would have not happened if security was provided to Baz Khan,” Naeem Khan added.
They said that the chairman Senate had also directed the authorities concerned to provide security to the community.
They said that they would not afraid of such incidents of terrorism.
They would sacrifice their lives but never compromise on principles, they added.
The community would bear the education expenses of the children of Baz Khan, they pledged.
They asked the government to arrest the killers of the deceased or else a protest campaign would be launched.
