LAHORE
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has expressed concern over the abduction of Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco) XEN Eng Naseebullah Baloch from Panjgur and called for his immediate recovery.
In a statement on Saturday, he said the abduction of a senior officer raised a question mark over the efficiency of law enforcement and security agencies. He said engineers were an asset to the nation, and the engineer community was highly perturbed over the abduction of Eng Naseebullah Baloch.
He said the failure of government agencies in recovering Eng Naseebullah Baloch even after the passage of several days indicated that those in power had their own priorities. He said when someone related to any big wig was found missing or abducted, all security agencies and official machinery came into action immediately. But nobody was bothered by the abduction of a common man, he added.
The JI chief assured Balochistan Engineers Forum President Jamil Ahmed Kurd, that JI would raise voice for the recovery of Eng Naseebullah at every forum. He also expressed sympathies with the family of Naseebullah and assured them of all out-support.
