BISC Bahawalpur 5 staffers suspended for negligence

BAHAWALPUR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur chairman On Friday suspended five staffers of the board for negligence.
The chairman suspended computer programmer Muhammad Ajmal Amin, computer data entry operators Raheel Tahir and Shahzad Sabir and Intermediate Branch clerks Adnan Khokhar and Adnan Rao on the charges of negligence. He also constituted an inquiry committee to probe into the facts that how four result cards of FSc part I were issued with more marks even more than the subjects total marks. It is pertinent to mention here that the BISE Bahawalpur had issued several inter part I result cards in which two science subjects marks were more than the maximum marks of the subject. However, according to the BISE Bahawalpur press release, the result cards of such candidates had been corrected and uploaded on the BISE website with the correct marks gained by the candidates.
Man axed to death on suspicion

BAHAWALPUR: A man was axed to death on suspicion at Basti Ara Qureshian on Friday.
Accused Danish and his accomplice Muhammad Kaleem intercepted Kaleemullah and allegedly axed him to death. The motive behind the incident is said to be that accused Danish had doubted that Kaleemullah had established illicit relations with his fiancee Naheed Akhtar. Police have started investigation.
