Fahim cruises into tennis tourney climax

KARACHI: Fahim Ramzan stunned favourite Ibrahim Iltifat in the semi-finals of men’s singles event of the inaugural Naushad Imdad Development Series Ranking Tennis here on Thursday.
Both players played a neck-and-neck battle for a place in the final before Ramzan eventually prevailed recording a 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 victory.
Meanwhile in under-17 singles semi-finals, Noor-e-Mustafa dropped a set before beating Hasan Farooq 6-3, 6-7, 10-4. In under-11 semi-finals, Mahatir Muhammad overpowered Taha Aman 8-6.
