People won’t petition courts if institutions work well: CJP
Provision of speedy justice is judges’ responsibility; extraordinary steps need of hour post-9/11; lawyers, police and the masses no longer safe

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali says people will not move to courts for justice if all institutions work in accordance with their mandate. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in connection with laying the foundations of two anti-terrorism courts at the Central Jail Karachi here.
