Future leadership should focus on all-round professional grooming, says COAS
Inaugurates 4th battalion
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Monday emphasized the need for future leadership to focus on their all-round professional grooming.
He said this during his visit to the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul. The visit was focused on reviewing the current training regime for cadets and PMA’s capacity enhancement projects including the inauguration of fourth Pakistan Battalion, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a news release.
Gen Raheel said with an enhanced degree of professional ethos, pride and esprit de corps the nation could meet all challenges effectively and comprehensively. “During the fight against terrorism our officers have always upheld the proud tradition of leading from the front regardless of the cost, he emphasized.
He appreciated the ongoing improvements in the training and administrative facilities for the cadets. Earlier on arrival at the PMA the COAS was received by Inspector General Training and Evaluation (IGT&E) Lieutenant General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Commandant Pakistan Military Academy Major General Nadeem Raza.
